The Last International Playboy

The Last International Playboy Opens June 12!

Gen Art congratulates alum film The Last International Playboy on its New York opening, and is excited to partner with the film on these fantastic opening week events!

The Last International Playboy was an official selection of the 2008 Gen Art Film Festival.  Known then as Frost, tickets sold out well before the Festival opened and the red carpet premiere was attended by the stylish & sexy cast, including Jason Behr, Monet Mazur, Lydia Hearst, and more.  Directed by Steve Clark, the film was incredibly well-received by Gen Art members and Film Festival guests.

Synopsis
Roswell star Jason Behr assumes the role of Jack Frost, the ultimate New York City playboy who sinks into a deep depression after learning that his childhood love Carolina (Monet Mazur) is engaged to another man. Still haunted by his mother’s suicide, professional charmer Jack spirals into a self-destructive cycle of whisky and reckless behavior, while his best friends Ozzy (Krysten Ritter), Scotch (Mike Landry), and Kate (Lucy Gordon) struggle to find a means of jarring their depressed pal back to reality. Strangely enough, it isn’t Jack’s grown up friends who offer him the most useful relationship advice, but his eleven-year-old neighbor Sophie (India Ennenga), whose unusually wise and thoughtful words have a special way of helping the self-absorbed urbanite shake off the nostalgia and excess that may ultimately consume him. www.thelastinternationalplayboy.com
