It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
All year long, the Gen Art elves slave over their work stations with one selfless goal in mind: to produce seven straight days of joyous revelry sure to please all the boys and girls. This momentous occasion is called the Gen Art Film Festival, and the countdown has officially commenced.
While we are an institution known for our good times, this affair is all about the art. And in this case, the art starts with a new crop of remarkable individuals—the filmmakers. It’s my pleasure to introduce to you the hysterical, inspiring, intelligent and talented folks responsible for Gen Art’s most wonderful time of the year.
Derick Martini, “Lymelife”
He digs Salinger, Scorsese and the Stones. Meet the man behind out opening night...
Topaz Adizes, “Trece Anos”
His favorite drink is Makers Mark with a splash of ginger. Remember that for the afterparty.
Matt Aselton, “Gigantic”
Matt hearts twizzlers. And Bjork.
Liliana Greenfield-Sanders, “Adelaide”
Liliana parties in Putnam Valley and vacations in Amsterdam. But what Gotham City neighborhood does she call home?
Jay DiPietro, "Peter and Vandy"
Jay doesn't like that inspirational quote you put in your email signature.
Hillman Curtis, “Bridge”
Hillman strives to find the possibilities in the limitations...
David Lee Miller, “My Suicide”
If he had it his way, he'd be partying it up in the Redwoods with some Taj Mahal and tequila.
Gregori Viens, “Punching the Clown”
Gregori is partial to massages and a nice Gevrey Chambertin red burgundy.
Ole Schell & Sara Ziff, “Picture Me: A Model’s Diary”
If this director's film career goes in the tube he's slated to be the next Director of the George W Bush Presidential Library.
Patrick Barry, “Veer!”
Patrick enjoys reading classifieds, cereal boxes, billboards, bumper stickers, and early 19th century British literature.
Julie Davis, “Finding Bliss”
Julie wants Woody Allen to write her back.
Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott aka HONEST, "Boob"
These boys like turtles, Korean massages, Ghostface Killah and procrastinating.
