Park City Success

Gen Art's most ambitious slate of programming to date for Park City was a great success. Our VIP Daytime Lounge hosted (and warmed) guests for 17 hours over the first weekend of the Festival, and the fun times continued at our four additional high profile events.

At the daytime lounge, guests took a break from the madness of Main Street to chill out, grab a complimentary drink (Patron, Stella Artois or Fiji water, depending on the mood) and network like there was no tomorrow. Shoulders were rubbed and stories were shared with indie film directors, New York and L.A. night timers, Lisa Edelstein of "House" fame, funny man Tom Arnold, Cory Kennedy, and for those who miss the original "92010", Ian Ziering.

After all the rubbing and sharing, guests took advantage of the Lifestyle condom hand outs from Miss Universe 2008, got their eyebrows done by Anastasia of Beverly Hills and utilized the free Wi-Fi.

Check out our daytime lounge photos here and read all the dirty details from the rest of our Sundance weekend here.

YOUR AMAZON AD CONTEST & THE WINNER IS (YOU'VE SEEN IT ON TV)!

We invited filmmakers and film fans of all shapes and sizes to compete in the Your Amazon Ad Contest by submitting a home-made 30 second Amazon commercial... and the winner is:

Angela Kohler, (Los Angeles, CA) for “Kindlicious

“We are thrilled to have won both prizes because it means our film resonates with both Amazon corporate and their customers,” said Kohler. “We are really looking forward to attending the Gen Art Film Festival, and having our video recognized at the event is definitely icing on the cake.”

Rounding out the top five were:
Second Place – Gary E. Irwin, Philadelphia, Pa., for “Wish List”
Third Place – Dian Sananikone, Marietta, Ga., for “Proceed to a Better Life”
Fourth Place – David Keenan, Hacienda Heights, Calif., for “Not Available”
